Ubisoft Logo Concept - 2003->2017 Purple Swirl Tribute

Here's a little Logo concept !

I am kind of a fan of Ubisoft since several years, it's a studio that a like a lot, and when their new logo came up in 2017, i was a bit like "But the old one was good, there was no need to change it".

But with time i get used to this new logo, a really nice logo if you ask me, but i was a bit nostalgic, so i decided to take the logo that was used from 2003 to 2017 (the purple swirl one) and i changed it to make it look a bit like the new one.

Basically, the changes that i made are :
-Removing all the 3D effects from the logo
-Put the inside of the logo in white
-Apply a soft purple gradient on the outside of the logo and on the Ubisoft text
-I changed a bit the swirl in the middle, nothing big here, but it looked great to me, so i changed it
